My Students
Our classroom is a fun place to learn. We work hard, and I try to provide an educational experience for each child at their specific level. Our classroom is like a family as we support one another and celebrate each other as we make progress throughout the year.
My students love learning and I strive to provide the best education possible so they will have the keys they need to unlock their potential.
I teach in a Title I school, and we aim to keep our school community positive so that our students feel like school is a safe haven where they can come to learn and grow.
My Project
We are fortunate to have one-to-one technology for each child in our school district. Each student receives a Chromebook to help them access educational computer programs at school and then to access Zoom and educational computer programs at home on the days they do not come to school. Unfortunately, the headphones we have are too old and too big for my little Kindergarteners. They often complain that the headphones are hurting their little ears or that they cannot hear out of the headphones any longer. The educational programs we use on the computer are adaptive reading programs so it is essential that students are able to easily hear their specific lessons on their Chromebooks.
I would love a new class set of headphones for students to be able to use both at home and at school.
A lot of our families live in apartments where multiple students are trying to Zoom with their classes at the same time. Headphones would help eliminate background noise and allow students to focus on my Zoom lessons and also their educational computer programs.
