This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
In my bustling 7th and 8th-grade classroom, fostering a passion for leadership and learning is paramount. However, with limited resources, providing access to a diverse range of leadership literature has been a challenge. That's why I'm excited to introduce our DonorsChoose project to acquire a rotating bookshelf, a dynamic tool that will revolutionize our learning space.
With the rotating bookshelf at the heart of our classroom, I envision an engaging environment where students can easily explore an extensive collection of leadership-themed books.
From biographies of influential leaders to practical guides on effective communication and problem-solving, this resource will serve as a gateway to inspiration and empowerment for my 230 students. Imagine the excitement as they discover new perspectives, draw inspiration from role models, and develop their own leadership skills through immersive reading experiences.
