Tuners for the Band

Help me give my students tuners to help our students tune their instruments for multiple classes. Tuning is one of the key elements to playing well. we need tuners and clip on pick-ups for said tuners.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

There are many factors that go into playing your instrument correctly. One of the most important aspect of playing any instrument is your tuning. If you are not playing in tune, your most likely not going to sound the best that you can. As a member of the band staff, that is why I would like to get a set of class tuners for my band classes.

Having tuners in the band room would help with the whole ensembles tuning, individual tuning, and help the students who can not afford tuners utilize one of the most important musical tools.

This would help in class and outside of class with individual practice after-school. Not only would they have a tuner to help monitor there tuning, they would have a metronome built in to help with keeping in time while playing.

Having a class set of tuners would help every band class at the high school spanning across multiple grade levels and experience levels in many different ways. The tuners would help with monitoring the students tuning, and help with individual practice for those not able to afford there own. Please help our band students get tuners to help the present and future students grow in to stronger musicians!
