This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We recently got a project funded that allowed us to get 50 tuners for our concert band students. Next, we are hoping to get 50 tuner clips so students can individually tune themselves in class during rehearsal, without the interference of noise from the other students.
These tuner clips will enable our students to fine-tune their instruments with precision, ensuring that they start each rehearsal and performance on the right note.
With tuner clips, they'll develop a keen ear for pitch and learn to play in tune, a fundamental skill for any musician.
Our goals for this project are twofold: first, to provide our students with the necessary tools to elevate their musical abilities, and second, to foster a supportive and enriching learning environment where they can thrive. By equipping them with tuner clips, we aim to empower our students to take ownership of their sound and develop a deeper understanding of musicality.
What makes our students truly special is their unwavering dedication to their craft and their willingness to support one another as a musical community. They bring creativity, passion, and a relentless pursuit of excellence to every rehearsal and performance. With the help of tuner clips, I have no doubt that they will continue to grow and shine as musicians.
