Despite the odds against them, from day 1 my students have come to my classroom with the eagerness to build a love for literacy. During the storm my students not only suffered in their homes but in the classroom as well. Being at school makes the teachers work even harder to prepare our kids for a bright future! They will eventually be prepared to go out into the world with the love of literacy.
Families have been displaced and students have missed many days of school.
Our entire libraries and reading area were ruined. The winds and waters of Hurricane Harvey have destroyed our school and everything within. As we are eagerly rebuilding new and improved facilities to strengthen education in our neighborhood and beyond, we also continue on our mission to learn, lead, and be great.
During the struggle and sadness of Hurricane Harvey, my girls should have a special place to take their minds off the aftermath. This cheer mat will help begin a safe practice and start the most exciting cheer season of their school years. After attending cheer camp in the summer, these girls are more than prepared to cheer on the rest of the campus to make life more enjoyable! Our cheerleaders will be the face of the school, they will march through the halls with Bulldog pride! Please help our cheerleaders with the necessary equipment for a safe cheer season. Thank you for your support.
