Tumble-n-Cheer

My Students

Our cheerleaders are HUNGRY! They joined our cheer program to be groomed into the best middle school cheerleaders in the state of GA. We need help with tumbling aids. Tumbling is an important component to competitive cheerleading, and an advantage for the winnings and for scholarship opportunities.

Our cheerleaders not only cheer; they are LEADERS.

They are respectable, athletic and well-rounded youth with the Highest GPA of the school. They also train endlessly to perform and compete in a regional and state cheer competition, support the other school athletics organizations, and represent their school with pride in the community. We are proud to have 25 cheerleaders for the 2015-16 season and are excited for the upcoming year. Our school has a HIGH percentage of students from low-income families. The Title I government funds received solely focus on the academic success of our students; however, many of our students have talents that we, the staff, would like to showcase.

My Project

Because tumbling is such a pertinent skill for competitive cheerleading, we want to make sure that our cheerleaders have the best foundation for growth. Our cheerleaders will train weekly to perform basic-to-advanced tumbling skills, such as cartwheels, roundoffs, front and back walkovers, front and back handsprings, front and back tucks, back layouts, and full twist. My students need a tumbling octagon to successfully and safely train in gymnastics. An incline mat will quickly progress skills needed for competitive cheer.

With your donations, you would be creating a vessel for my cheerleaders to flourish, to become the BEST cheerleaders they can possibly be.

You'd help separate them from mediocre athletes and the "cream of the crop". Furthermore, you'd help create the opportunity to be scouted by the best high school and all-star cheer teams. This undoubtedly will set them apart, and provide more availability to offers, some as great as full scholarships for college. This would be a true blessing for our team!
