There's no possible way to describe my students that would do them justice. I am consistently amazed and surprised by them and what they can do. They're caring, and clever, open-minded, and up for challenges despite having many challenges at home.
My students inspire me daily because they are constantly trying to better themselves and trying to leave a better world in their wake.
The beautiful part about my classes are how inclusive they are - my classroom environment feels more like a family than a group of 30 peers.
My students use tripods a lot in my creative photography class. Some of their favorite projects have been dependent upon tripods. I use photography in tandem with editing to show students how technical applications bring photographs into the 21st century. Our current tripods aren't in the best shape. They're falling apart. Some we were able to Frankenstein into others, but for the most part, they need to be replaced. At 30 students per class, working in groups of 2, I need at least 15 tripods to pull off many of my assignments. With your help, my kids could have an easier time getting their images to line up. Right now, the tripods are loose. They move between shots, which messes everything up. With no way to tighten them, I'm stuck trying to polish what they have. With the time constraints we do have, it doesn't always work out in our favor.
