it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
In transitioning with the current pandemic I have had to learn to think about assisting my students in new ways. Since we are not in a physical building I have had to pursue different avenues to get results from my students. Student engagement is also another opportunity for growth, trying to get them engaged. I have ideas I want to implement but need to use a single device (unlike a whole laptop) in order to travel to different places more efficiently.
Currently, I am utilizing many sites and streamlining access to myself and resources so I'm not spread too thin.
So I've had a thought to start making videos of me doing some examples with manipulatives but am in need of another device to record on due to only having one device. With this said, we also want to protect what we have been given. This project is for protective gear to give the tablet we been gifted some longevity.
My Project
We have a DonorsChoose project that is soon to be fulfilled with a nice iPad tablet to better assist in doing our home learning due to the pandemic. However what is a nice piece of technology if you don't use it properly or safely for that matter? I noticed we didn't have any protective gear to ensure its longevity.
This project consists of materials used to compliment the new iPad and give it a longer life expectancy.
We as people try our best with pricey technology not to drop or scratch our devices, but accidents can happen.
We want to make sure the case is of good quality and with a keyboard for different types of access to make some assignments easier or with a pen.
