This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
With the rise of STEM-focused lessons in education, our technology has enveloped unique and varied interfaces with which to engage with the material. Gone are the days when we simply typed out our homework using a keyboard. We've even moved on from pointing and clicking with a mouse. Now, we are engaging with the digits of our fingers, the expressions of our faces, and the tone of our voices.
It's time we recognize that learning has evolved!
Students should not be expected to respond to lessons with mere words on online forums. We must give them additional tools to interact in creative ways. Avatars express our personalities and interests. Musical styles reflect our culture. Colorful designs allow students to apply their artistry to mix. Learning should be creative and fun! A new Apple iPad with its camera and video software can help students reach for limitless possibilities. Also, a cover keyboard and cables help keep the device safely charged and ready to go.
