My Project
My students are excited Kindergarteners who will be stepping into 1st grade for the very first time this September, and I’m committed to making their transition as smooth and joyful as possible! We’re an Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT) classroom with two teachers and a paraprofessional, offering a collaborative and supportive environment. Our diverse group includes both general education and special education students, with each child learning in ways that are visual and hands-on. The special education students in my class have a range of diagnoses, including Autism, ADHD, and Speech and Language Impairments, and many are also ESL or bilingual learners.
Despite their unique needs and backgrounds, there’s one thing all my students share in common—they absolutely love school, especially school trips!
These shared experiences help bring our classroom community even closer.
Matching shirts for students are not only adorable but also a smart safety measure! When everyone is wearing the same shirt, it’s much easier to keep track of the kids during school trips or outdoor activities. It helps teachers and staff quickly spot any student, ensuring no one gets lost or separated. Plus, it adds a sense of unity and fun to the day, making the experience even more special for the students!
