Help me give my students access to engaging activities that have been tried, tested, and reviewed by many science educators and students.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are a group of diverse, middle school, sixth, seventh, and eighth graders. We are at a Title l school. Most of my students come from a low socioeconomic background. I strive to have my classroom accessible and equitable, but that becomes a challenge when resources are limited.
My students are current and future scientists who are excited to learn about the world around them through curiosity, observation, data collection, and application.
My students are all eager to learn and make self-discoveries in science. They come to school knowing that it's a safe place where they can create meaningful connections with their peers and teachers. They come with little to no background knowledge of the science content, but they are willing and strive to soak up all the knowledge that is presented to them. My students are wonderful young men and women who are ready to take on the world.
My Project
In the past years, I have purchased worksheets and activities on Teachers Pay Teachers to help supplement and engage students. Over the years, I have learned that one of their favorite activities is coloring. When paired with a review worksheet, students do well. However, the cost of these coloring worksheets add up as I teach multiple topics in middle school science (physical science, earth science, life science, chemical science, and space science).
Help provide resources that have been created by teachers, which have been tried, tested, and reviewed for quality while also fostering creativity.
There are a few science creators who create and develop amazing lesson plans and supplements, which I can use in addition to FOSS. I have used a few, such as a paper marble roller coaster project to help reinforce the idea of kinetic energy, potential energy, velocity, acceleration, and mass. Students enjoyed this project because it was hands-on and allowed them to be creative while allowing them to practice and apply their science and engineering knowledge. I have recently found a science color by number bundle from TPT that covers all areas of middle school science. This resource when purchased as a whole is less expensive than purchasing each item individually. Previewing these handouts, I see that we cover 80-90% of the topics from this resource and I can reuse them year after year.
