My students have been covering lots of amazing ground this year. We've been on many adventures with our storyline curriculum: sifting through "elephant poop" found on the African Savannah to testing the pH of "water samples" in the Pacific Northwest.
When we need basic classroom supplies like colored pens, flag markers, and things like graph paper we don't want to pause what we are doing to have to hunt down materials.
It would be great for us to have few more setups around the classroom where students can grab and go these items as needed.
My students also go through a lot of tape and staples (keeping important notes and pictures organized in their notebooks) and I've also requested some card stock so that students can have sturdy copies of items we use frequently and so we can make origami organelles (a really cool, 3-D way to reinforce concepts from class - ie. organelles, cellular processes, etc.).
