This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Do you remember when you were five years old and would rush home from school on Halloween to go trick or treating? You would go from door to door, shouting trick or treat. Unfortunately my students do not live in a neighborhood where they can do that. Their opportunity to go trick or treating is at school where they can visit their service providers, gym teacher, art teacher, and paraprofessionals.

By providing my students with candy, you are allowing them to experience Halloween in a safe way.

They are able to visit people they know and practice saying trick or treat, please and thank you.

We are requesting some of our favorite treats such as Hershey bars, M&Ms, sour patch kids, starbursts, cookies, and toys. These treats will allow my students to celebrate the holiday, just like you did when you were a child.
