Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help us expand our most popular classroom series. I strive to provide a classroom library with various themes and genres. Our graphic novels and Manga are the most popular. Currently, my students are reading several different series. Ranging from Hearstopper, Mexikid, Blue Lock to The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The IDW Collection. I asked my students what series they would be interested in adding to our classroom library, and they quickly made sure I knew exactly what we needed. They would like to expand on some we already have and others we don’t.
I am excited to continue providing my students with books that make them enthusiastic about our dedicated independent reading time.
