This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I work at a STEM magnet middle school in Indiana. This means that my students chose to come to our school to learn more about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
My seventh and eighth graders come from all around the city to form a community where we focus on our core values of rigor, community, relationships, and drive.
My students come from diverse cultures and experiences, and some overcome significant obstacles to succeed at our school. In their two short years with us, they come in as young pre-teens and develop into teenagers prepared to flourish in high school!
My Project
We are so close to the end of the year and we want to be able to celebrate our students' success through this crazy year. We have all survived a pandemic!! I am asking for Cheetos, Chocolate candies, Starbursts, Skittles and treat bags. We have lots of events planned and these would be used for a prize during a teamwide competition. Thank you so much for considering a donation towards this project! My 150 eighth graders are very deserving of these treats (and so much more!) THANK YOU SO MUCH!
