Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Let's get some candy for kindness. We are learning how to be friends and accepting each other's differences. Chocolate, candy and snacks will be earned and used to give to a friend. This community service project will promote a more kind and inspiring environment for our students! We will create a kindness station in a common area of our school where any student can report an act of kindness. This will teach them that kindness counts as well as being responsible!

The monthly focus will be "kindness counts." We work with our kids to live this concept daily.

Students will earn one for themselves and one to give away to others when they are caught being kind by a peer. This is a great way to increase building relationships among our students.

We all know important kindness is and we want to encourage the next generation to pay it forward. Thank you for helping our students to that.
