My Project

I am a speech language pathologist in a Title I Pre-K to 8th school and I work with all 9 grade levels! I have worked with these amazing students for over 30 years! This year I decided to add a class store to the speech therapy room.

One thing that never changes is that students love earning a reward!

This project is for treats and treasures for students to earn as part of their positive behavior plans. Several of my students are on personalized behavior charts and token boards. We also have a speech room behavior system where students learn financial literacy through the earning and spending of classroom store items. If they achieve their goal, they earn dollars and can buy a reward. These items would be used to reward students for their hard work progressing toward their behavior goals. The items in this project include toy cars, pencils, lollipops and other fun items!
