My Students

Our Norfolk, Virginia PreK students are amazing and resilient! We are located in a dedicated military town. All students have risk factors that qualify them for our program. I see the sparkle in their eyes when they login to the computer. Distance teaching is challenging, but with hands-on materials, we can help them thrive!

My Project

Prizes are something that we give to students at the end of the day. The children always look forward to looking inside the Treasure Chest. It has been a little bare recently. Prizes are a good motivator for rest time. "We say, first we rest, then we go to Treasure Chest!" I save prizes for the end of the day because it is a nice way to say that we care about them on their way out the door.

Please help us to give our students a little sunshine to take home with them after a long day at school.

Coming to school on this hybrid schedule is challenging. It's hard to have an inconsistent schedule. Coming in person some days and distance learning other days is daunting. Treasure Box makes everyone happy! Thank you for considering our project.
