My Project

Each of my special education students has a daily incentive chart.We use this to help us maximize our 30-45 minute Reading Intervention time in the resource room. They work so hard each day to do all the planned activities, earn their stars/stickers and then redeem their prize once the chart is filled up. I use the treasure box as a motivational tool and at the same time it teaches them with decision making as they decide which prize to pick. This also helps them set a target or goal to work on something they desire. While they are motivated to earn their rewards, they also get to learn the skills they need during intervention time.

My students expressed their desire in the items included in this project as part of their rewards.

These will surely motivate them to perform better. This will keep their motivation and interest to learn this coming month.
