Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

By funding my project, you will motivate my 6th-grade students to focus when it comes to working in small groups. Our school district adopted a new program, i-ready, in which it will provide a teacher with data to target the needs of our students when it comes to math and reading standards. As a result of this program, students are required to work for ten minutes on a lesson that targets their needs. The goal is for students to increase their math and/or reading levels every week and to do that they need to concentrate and pay attention to what they are learning. As a result, to motivate them it is a must to have incentives such as LEGO boxes, slime, and skateboards. Every month, I will raffle five prizes to students who are climbing to the top and meeting their monthly goals.
