My Project

This project is to get the Meta Quest 2 advanced all-in-one virtual reality headset to incorporate VR learning into our media center and school. There are a number of advantages to VR learning experiences in a classroom. First, it allows students to learn in a way that is more active and engaging. Second, it helps students understand concepts in a more concrete way. And third, it can be more fun and exciting than traditional learning. With this equipment, the students will be able to explore various activities to learn about different places, spaces, and environments around the world!

When students are engaged in learning experiences that are both immersive and interactive, they are more likely to remember what they have learned and be able to apply it to real-world situations.

Taking students into virtual or 360 videos of the Amazon Rainforest will help them better understand why protecting these environments is so important. One big setback that some of our students face is real-life experiences that help them understand some content that we teach. We can't take field trips all around the world, but taking them to those areas virtually is the next best thing. Thanks for any support you can send our way!
