This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
When I first started teaching, I was introduced to an amazing selection of stories. Unfortunately, over time things must change and the new curriculum lost the fun, lighthearted stories that brightened the minds and engaged the students in meaningful conversations.
These books are among some of the most imaginative and engaging stories I've ever read to a class.
They also bring out some basic critical thinking skills that students need in order to be successful in this world.
Along with the books, the Power Pens included help students find their independence in learning and can gain confidence that will carry them into their future.
