My Project

My business students had the idea to host financial literacy workshops teaching their high school peers about "how to be smart with money" and they need technological tools to be successful. The main item needed for the success of these sessions was to obtain a new laptop for traveling throughout the school to different classrooms and to post social media content. Donors rose to the challenge and now we have a new laptop. However, my students now need the other tools to safely travel throughout the school with this very expensive piece of technology. This requires the students to have a bag, case, mouse, cover and other tools to carry the laptop and assist with keeping the technology safe. Students will use the laptop and other technological tools to project presentations, incorporate financial game play, host virtual meetings and utilize videos to teach financial literacy. Without the safety measures in place, my students will not be able to begin hosting the financial literacy series throughout the school or create social media content.
