This school year marks my 10th year teaching. I love changing grade levels and I especially third grade.
Third grade is an exciting year for students.
My belief as a teacher is that my students should feel like they are part of our classroom community, they should be comfortable, and they should be able to collaborate.
Students in my class this year will get to experience several different flexible seating options. Students have already visited my classroom and are super excited for the year to start.
My Project
Students will use the book bins to carry their books and supplies around the room. Since we have flexible seating students don't have to sit in the same seat during the day. The book bins will allow students to travel and to use the flexible seating options available. The bins will provide students an opportunity to own their learning and to make choices on how they will work best.
My students are super excited to be able to move around the room!
The classroom caddies will also allow students to have access to extra supplies on the table so that they don't have to carry them in their book bins.
