My Project

Learning about Oregon counties, the United States, and countries in the Western Hemisphere are important concepts in 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade social studies.

Myrtle Crest 3rd- 6th graders want to celebrate their learning about the world with a Geography Fair!

This project will allow each student an equal opportunity to display their learning about a unique location around the world or within the US by providing them with the essential items needed to participate. Providing students with necessary supplies, such as markers, glue sticks and cardstock, will allow them to focus on exploring a new location around the world and building a presentation to display their learning. Celebrating their learning with a Geography Fair promotes student creativity, schoolwide collaboration, and community involvement.
