My Project

Reading can teach us and transport us. Reading books can transport you to faraway galaxies, exciting lands, back in time, or the future—and you never have to leave your seat. My students are in the exceptional student education program and they are truly exceptional, each with their own unique love of letters and words.

The items I have requested will continue making it possible for me to teach phonological and phonemic awareness to my students.

This awareness will allow them to begin decoding (sounding out) and blending words so that they will be able to enjoy the gift of reading independently as much as they do in a group.
