My Project

Our class maintains a hydroponic garden of vegetables, herbs, and flowers in our classroom. We read about our plants (science and literacy), measured their growth, and compared them (math). Sadly, our beloved plants have outgrown their indoor homes and must be transplanted to our school garden outside. These materials will make that possible for our class.

I want to create an opportunity for my students to grow and maintain the class garden during the prettiest days of the school year.

I teach at a Title 1 school, and many of my students don't have the same experiences as other students, and I want to provide that experience for them. They plan to donate their vegetables and give their moms flowers for Mother's Day. These are their goals, and it is fantastic to see them create!
