My Project

Imagine being in a new county. You do not know anyone, you do not speak the country's native language, and your teacher does not speak your language. This is the terrifying reality for many of my students.

My English language learners deserve to have their voices heard.

There have been several instances in my classroom where my students who are learning English are eager to express a thought with me or share ideas with their classmates, and google translate has left us even more confused. In these instances, I am at a loss and struggle to understand my english language learners.

This project will provide us with a better translating device to help us communicate more effectively.
