My Students
I teach in a low-income area in Florida. It is a Title I school, which means that more than 95% of the student body comes from a low socioeconomic background. The students receive free or reduced-price lunch I am currently the 9th grade Intensive Reading Teacher. My students require a lot of resources and visual aids to assist them for understanding. They are always ready to try new things and grow both academically and personally.
The method and environment in which they are learning in now require a lot for both myself and students.
I am trying my very best to incorporate a variety of different learning strategies and learning techniques to ensure that each of the student's needs are being met during this pandemic.
My Project
I try my very best to incorporate a variety of different learning strategies how ever it will be more beneficial if I have a device which would properly allow me to engage effectively with my students during distant learning. The headphones with the microphone will allow my students to be able to hear me more clearly and the laptop with the higher speed will allow Zoom in Microsoft teams to run more effectively. It is important that my students and I have a smooth transition during this Distant learning process
More than half of students from low‑income households
