Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Please help us have a place to sit down when we are at the library area, blocks area, and the dramatic play area.
Our school is located in South Central Los Angeles CA.
It is a 100% Title I school. My students are mainly Latinos, whose families are working class. For most of my students this is their first time in school. They are so eager to learn, that I want to be able to provide them with as much positive school experiences as I can.
My Project
I know that with the activity carpets I have requested, my students are going to have a place to sit down when visiting the library area, blocks area, and dramatic play area. The color and shapes discovery boxes will help my students practice the color names, and the shapes.
Having the activity carpets, and the color and shapes discovery boxes I am requesting will forever impact our classroom.
It will give my students a place to sit down during center time. It will help them practice their color names,and shapes.
