This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Have you ever experience wanting to show a picture/photo of something or someone to your students, but you couldn't because the picture/photo you have its not big enough or its not color, or you can't find it, etc. How nice would it be if you could just pull out the laptop and search and SHOW them.
I have 20 students in my class.
The majority of my students come from low-income homes. More than half of my class are English Language Learners, which means English its not their first language. They need to be expose to different teaching modalities. They need to experience technology as a learning tool. With a laptop at their finger tips, it would make such a difference in the way my TK students would learn.
My Project
The possibility of incorporating technology in our classroom as a learning tool will give my Transitional Kindergartens students an advantage. They will be able to go to websites where they can review letter names, letter sounds, practice their blending skills, practice their math skills, etc., the possibilities of them learning or practicing skills are endless. Please help.
As we all know technology its such a big part of our lives, that I think teaching our children how to use a laptop as a learning tool will benefit them for a life time.
If you donate to this project, I will be forever thankful. I know that my students will benefit so much.
