My Project
Transition Journey is a new class for students on Individual Education Plans who are preparing for life after graduation from high school. Units in this class cover; cooking skills, personal finances and budgeting, career expectations, health care, transportation options, loans, daily home skills, and building a portfolio for sample applications, school records, resumes, and other legal papers.
High school is part of life's journey and the skills taught in Transition Journey are one step in helping students be prepared for real-life expectations.
Life is full of the unknown and we learn along the way, yet, giving students the tools needed in everyday life will give them the confidence to take the next step in life knowing they already have many skills needed to move forward.
