My Project
At Washoe Inspire Transition Academy, we provide young adults with disabilities (ages 18-21) an opportunity to receive vocational training and experience in the community to gain employment skills. We partner with many local businesses to provide our students with a variety of environments in which they can experience different entry level job tasks.
We are training to be competitively employed members of the workforce.
Our students are expected to maintain a professional appearance while at their job sites. Our classroom is a professional training facility, which includes desks and office chairs. Supplying our students with professional attire and furniture will allow them to continue along their path to becoming competitively employed.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
