My Project

The clarinet mouthpiece is a critical component of a clarinetist's setup, directly impacting tone quality, projection, and overall ensemble sound. Unfortunately, many of our student's current mouthpieces are worn out or of poor quality, hindering our students' ability to produce a clear and resonant sound.

By acquiring new, high-quality clarinet mouthpieces, we will give our students the opportunity to explore a fuller range of dynamics, achieve better intonation, and develop a richer, more vibrant tone.

This upgrade in equipment will not only enhance their individual playing experience but also elevate the overall sound of our ensemble.

Our primary goal for this project is to establish an inventory of high-quality mouthpieces for our students to use throughout their time in our program. By equipping our students with quality clarinet mouthpieces, we hope to inspire confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of music.

Our musicians are deeply motivated to create and share music as an ensemble. They support each other, work hard to grow and learn, and serve as leaders in our school. Their enthusiasm and passion for music are felt throughout our school. Our band program is not solely centered around learning notes and rhythms; it's also about building connections, fostering creativity, and instilling a sense of pride and accomplishment in our students. With your support, we can provide access to high-quality equipment to support our students in growing as individuals and as an ensemble.

Ms. Magistrale will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 2.
