Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are in dire need of a new library. Many of the books are outdated and they have to rely on online resources such as MYON and SORA. As much as these sources are great, I would love for my students to get off the screen and hold a book in their hands, especially after the COVID-19 Pandemic. The pencils will also motivate them to write, which will help them with their fine motor skills which has been lacking due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Additionally, the post-it notes will act as an anchor chart which my students and I create on a weekly basis. The whiteboard markers are always used in the classroom by both the students and I. The whiteboard holder will help us not lose them and keep them in a safe place. Lastly, the magnetic holder and paper roll will act as a daily poster where I plan on hanging a morning message which the students will use. Thank you for making our classroom a better place to be.
