My Project

I am growing my library on the leeward coast of Oahu and need more books to help my students.

Help me create a reading culture and a love for new perspectives in my English Language Learner classroom as we start a new reading unit.

We will be reading the YA novel, THE BOOK THIEF, and students will be able to develop their reading skills and understanding of figurative language, imagery, and new vocabulary.

My students are a passionate group who will benefit from exposure to new perspectives in both writing style and experiences.
