Help me give my students this laptop experience . Using this laptop I will present various presentations, maneuver through resources, all while ensuring my students are getting the assistance needed.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students Kinder-5th grade from an inner-city community of Miami Florida are inquisitive groups of students who are always ready to learn despite obstacles. My students are composed of English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), special needs, and general education are curious and eager learners who love to learn new things. Our classroom is a student-centered learning environment, creating an opportunity to fully engage in literacy instruction.
My Project
This laptop will help me keep my students engaged as I create exciting lessons for the minds of young learners. These invigorating lessons will keep students motivated while reaching academic levels of success through the experience of technology. Previously, I used my own personal laptop to create engaging lessons for my students, however, due to the demand for more memory and technological advancement through the years it lags.
My current device is an outdated desktop that provides limited flexibility and memory storage.
It constantly freezes during digital lessons, while facilitating games, engaging activities, and or going on virtual field trips.
Please help me give my students the opportunity to encounter a flawless technology that would enhance learning. Providing my students with a technology that brings a highly qualified experience would give every student the opportunity to encounter a world outside of their learning community.
