My Project

I am requesting funds to be trained Evidence-Based Literacy Instruction (EBLI) This training will help me acquire advanced techniques for diagnosing and addressing literacy challenges and enable me to provide targeted and effective instruction. The comprehensive EBLI framework will equip me with effective strategies for teaching reading, writing, and spelling, tailored to diverse learning styles and needs. It will help build my confidence in my ability to deliver high-quality literacy instruction and serve as a resource for my colleagues.

Helping struggling readers is crucial because literacy is foundational to academic success and enabling students to access and understand all other subjects.

Struggling readers who receive effective support are more likely to develop confidence and a positive attitude towards learning, reducing the risk of academic failure and dropout. By addressing reading challenges early, we can foster equity in education, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential and participate fully in society.
