My Project

Dear Donor,

I am writing to request funding support for a project aimed at transforming the front wall of my middle school ELA classroom into an engaging and interactive space for student learning.

The project involves the purchase of 12 quarts of dry-erase paint that will allow me to create an innovative and dynamic learning environment for my students.

The project entails painting the front wall of my classroom with dry-erase paint, turning it into a writable surface where students can brainstorm, collaborate, and express their creativity. This interactive wall will serve as a hub for student engagement, fostering a more dynamic and participatory learning experience.

In addition to creating an interactive and engaging learning environment, it is crucial to recognize the importance of getting students out of their seats and actively participating in the learning process! Middle schoolers are full of energy, excitement, and unfortunately apathy! Handing them a dry-erase marker and getting them out of their desk can spark their excitement for the lesson. By transforming the front wall of my classroom into a writable surface with dry-erase paint, students will have the opportunity to physically engage with the material, collaborate with their peers, and unleash their creativity in a way that traditional classroom settings often do not allow. I need more than 300 characters to list the plethora of ideas I have for lessons with this dry-erase wall in my ELA classroom!

I have been teaching ELA for over 20 years, and I am always proactively looking for ways to turn my classroom into a space where students can thrive and excel. Your support is greatly appreciated, and I look forward to the possibility of making this vision a reality with your generous assistance.
