My Project
As Coach of an incredible group of girls on the Storm Softball team, I’m requesting support for training softballs and a fielder’s glove to help elevate their skills. Many of my players come from tough backgrounds and lack proper equipment, yet they are passionate and dedicated to the sport. This project will make a significant difference in their development.
Training softballs are perfect for learning.
Their lightweight design helps players focus on their throwing and catching techniques without the fear of injury. With these, we can increase repetition, build muscle memory, and improve overall confidence. The fielder’s glove will help in defense, giving my athletes the proper tools to field accurately and reduce errors. Most of my girls don’t own quality gloves, making it hard to develop their fielding skills.
My goal is to build confidence, especially in defensive techniques, while fostering a supportive environment where players feel ready to succeed. With the right equipment, these young athletes can sharpen their skills and be better prepared for competitive play.
What makes my students special is their resilience. Despite personal challenges, they show up, work hard, and remain eager to learn. They deserve access to the right tools to help them thrive—not only as softball players but as confident, empowered young women.
