Train Like a Girl

Help me give my students the health and fitness equipment they need to promote wellness for all young ladies.

My Students

My students are a group of fun, energetic and eager young ladies trying to make a positive impact on girls athletics. These young ladies are highly motivated and focused on being the best they can be. My students are aware of how physical fitness is important to their overall wellness and have made a commitment to exercising.

My students are 40 competitive, hardworking and caring young ladies.

They approach each day with passion and unbridled enthusiasm. Although we lack needed equipment, the students have found ways to succeed. Overcoming odds is what makes this group special.

My Project

Wrestling is an evolving sport that has captured the hearts and minds of female athletes. My students have embraced the sport and are eager to be in a more competitive position.

The weights will play a vital role in the fitness and conditioning of all female student athletes.

Most fitness equipment provided by the athletic department is designed for the male dominated sports. Thus we have a critical need to provide suitable equipment for the female athletes. This equipment will allow them to meet their fitness goals and compete on a level playing field. Supporting these amazing students will be beneficial to their long term health and wellness objectives.
