Wrestling is an evolving sport that has captured the hearts and minds of female athletes. My students have embraced the sport and are eager to be in a more competitive position. The weights will play a vital role in the fitness and conditioning of all female student athletes. Most fitness equipment provided by the athletic department is designed for the male dominated sports. Thus we have a critical need to provide suitable equipment for the female athletes. This equipment will allow them to meet their fitness goals and compete on a level playing field. Supporting these amazing students will be beneficial to their long term health and wellness objectives.
