My Project
My school uses trade books as part of our reading curriculum. The district does provide us with individual copies of books, but I like to have sets of books for my small groups to read. This allows for every student to have a book in their hand and really be able to dive into the text during independent time, as well as small group reading time.
These books will help to provide my kids with background knowledge in a lot of different areas.
My kiddos come to me with not a lot of outside experiences, so I try to provide as much as I can through our literature and other activities that we do in class.
