Tracking Nervous System Signals in Muscles

Help me give my students kits to investigate the nervous system and muscles!

My Project

These kits will allow students to see the action potentials happening in their muscles! In this unit students do a simple muscle fatigue activity with a rubber band, and all students can relate to feeling their muscles get tired after playing a sport or a challenging day in PE!

Students will be able to use the materials to watch the neurons fire as they use their muscles during an experiment.

This will allow them to see their nervous system in action, and make complex concepts visual and real to them!
