Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Distance learning is so different from regular school. I miss communicating and seeing my students on a daily basis. Since March 23rd, my high school students have been learning remotely from home and will not be returning back for the academic year. My students are currently learning from home due to the coronavirus pandemic. I teach 5 Spanish classes and 1 College Now Psychology class to Seniors. They are resilient learners who do not give up when presented with a challenging task. My students need engaging lessons and resources to stay motivated and learning from home.
My Project
Teachers Pay Teachers (TpT)gift cards would open up a wealth of lesson plans for me and my students. TpT has thousands of lessons that I could access to meet the needs of my students and provide many resources that will help with differentiate learning to meet the needs of all my students. I am requesting online resources that my students can use during distance/remote learning.
Students will be able to access Spanish grade level resources they can complete using Google Classroom our current learning platform.
I am looking forward to providing my classes with additional exciting, grade level specific, standards based lessons. I love using different resources to let them practice and review key skills they can use beyond the classroom. The TPT resources will be used to engage students in reading, listening, speaking and writing activities in Spanish.
