My Students

I am a 4th-year kindergarten teacher! Teaching is my passion, and working with the littlest learners is what I have always felt called to do. My classroom is always full of energy and innovation. I go to work daily with the hope I can give each and every one of my students a loving, safe environment to learn!

I teach kindergarten at a Title I school in Texas.

I currently teach both virtual and face-to-face students during this unprecedented school year we are having!

Most of the students in my district lived through a rough time in their short lives due to the Hurricane in 2017 and are now faced with the uncertainty of the global pandemic, COVID-19. However, these students are resilient and eager to learn. Many of these children are, unfortunately, lacking basic necessities, but they show up every morning trying their best to smile. My students are survivors, and they deserve the best!

My Project

Every year, I spend hundreds of dollars of my own money buying extra curriculum & activities on TPT for my classroom. We do not get paid back for this expense, and teachers certainly do not make enough money to spend extra on their classrooms.

I do this simply because I love bringing new ideas in my classroom and seeing the children's faces light up during exciting activities!

It would help out so much if I had this gift card from TPT to help with a few of the items I have on my wish list currently! I am looking at making a "fast finisher" box in my classroom full of challenging material for my higher students who always complete their independent work quickly!
