Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are very special first graders in a high-needs area of a borough in New York City. Most of my students are English Language Learners or children with special needs, eager to learn and discover. Each student is unique in his or her own way and deserves to have the best educational experience possible.
All of my students receive free or reduced-price lunch and unfortunately, my classroom does not always have the supplies we need.
Thank you! Every donation makes a difference in my students' lives. I look forward to creating projects that will make our physical and virtual classrooms a joyful learning environment.
My Project
Teachers Pay Teachers enables teachers across the globe to share their expertise and resources with each other. During this time of uncertainty, I am looking to my fellow teachers more than ever for guidance. Even though I have quality resources to use in the classroom with my students, many of them aren’t digital. I would rather spend my time engaging and interacting with my students during in-person learning than trying to build resources to use digitally. There are so many incredible teachers who have already created these items that I would love the funds to purchase; click ‘Go’ and start using!
Being a successful educator requires collaboration and sharing, two things that Teachers Pay Teachers stand for.
With this TPT gift card, I plan to purchase interactive, digital learning activities to provide the best learning experiences for my students during in-person learning and at home. These resources will significantly benefit my special education students who need specifically tailored instruction to be successful. I want to make learning fun again! Having students and teachers going to temporary distance learning because of positive Covid-19 cases in the school has been very stressful on teachers and families; I am hoping these resources help take some of that stress away from both parties.
