I serve students with disabilities who have difficulty with self care, fine motor skills, social participation, mobility, and sensory regulation. I am requesting back-to-school supplies for my students, particularly digital resources for students learning virtually. I will also need funds to purchase items that they may need at home, such as scissors, pencils, crayons, and any other supplies that may be needed for virtual or in-person therapy. There is a need for each student to have their own set of supplies to decrease the spread of germs and some teachers do not have supplies for their classroom and therapy. Thank you!
My Project
Many students do not have basic items at home for teletherapy but will require virtual therapy to support their learning. The materials will go towards kits that parents can pick up to help support their child's fine motor development at home with the assistance of the occupational therapist. Similarly, these items will be provided in individual kits for traditional students to that they do not have to share items with other students. I have also requested some virtual therapy materials that will assist student learning through teletherapy platforms. Thank you for your help!
