Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Responsible. Kind. And independent. Those are just some attributes of my high school math scholars. They attend a low-income Title I school and still persevere through the many obstacles they face daily. These students are special to me because they inspire me to be the best version of myself everyday.
My Project
Lesson planning is an essential part to effective learning. However every lesson plan needs a little FUN supplemental activity... and my go-to place for that is TpT (Teachers Pay Teachers). I use TpT to help enhance and engage my students in my lessons. Since I am still a new teacher I continuously am building up my activities tool box.
TpT allows me to explore activities to accommodate for all the different types of learners I see in my classroom everyday.
I strive for my students to become independent learners and the activities TpT has to offer allows me to challenge them throughout all my lessons.
