My Project
With these sensory and self-regulation tools, such as fidgets, play doh, busy boxes, and dabbers, my students will have access to engaging and calming resources tailored to their individual needs. Play-Doh will provide a tactile and hands-on way for students to build fine motor skills while also offering a soothing sensory experience. Fidget toys will help students regulate their energy levels, improve focus during instruction, and manage anxiety or overstimulation.
I will create a designated sensory corner in the classroom where students can take breaks and use these tools as needed.
Additionally, I will incorporate these items into structured activities to support self-regulation, social-emotional learning, and engagement. By having these tools readily available, my students will have more opportunities to succeed academically and emotionally in a supportive, sensory-friendly environment.
